Cassandra Ritter ( 1898 - 1960) was the second child of Chris and Harriet Ritter. She was born on May 3, 1898 in Iola, Kansas. Like her sister, Cassandra attended the University of Kansas and also had a degree in Botany, working in Bacteriology. She lived in Lawrence Kansas at the Faculty Women's Club and worked for the state. She died on February 16, 1960 of liver cancer in Topeka Kansas, and is buried
in Iola Cemetery. |
