Gabe Henry was the second husband of Harriet Ann Welker Ritter.
Gabe was an Iola resident and had been acquainted with the family for some
time.
Hattie Ritter and Gabe married around 1938, and moved to the farm at Humboldt,
Kansas.
Gabe's children lived with them for several years.
The couple later moved from the farm to an apartment in town. Gabe died
shortly after his wife did, in 1954.
