Eva V. (Solmo) Freda, 93, of Madison on June 9, 2004. Born in Brooklyn, NY,
she was a long time resident of Lake Neepaulin in Sussex County, before moving
to Madison. Employed for many years by New York Telephone, in WWII she was a
member of the American Women’s Volunteer Service (AWVS). She was a parishioner
of St. Vincent Martyr Roman Catholic Church of Madison. Daughter of Joseph and
Catherine Solmo, she was predeceased by her husband the late Marvin A. in 1990.
She is survived by her son, William and his wife Eileen of St. Petersburg, FL;
daughters Elaine and her husband Lawrence Spelle of Oceanport, and Janet and her
husband Christopher Ritter of Madison. She is also survived by six grandchildren
and eight great-grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. on
Saturday June 12, 2004 |
